If you are new to making wine at home, the following homemade wine recipe will make a pretty good batch of wine in about 2 weeks.
You will need the following ingredients:
3 cans of quality concentrated grape juice (or any flavor juice you prefer)
1 pack of rapid rise yeast
1/2 cup of sugar
six cans of water (using the grape juice cans)
a balloon
Sanitize gallon jug with bleach (rinse well), pour juice in jug with six cans of room temp water, add 1/2 cup of sugar shake well. Stir in rapid rise yeast package (or if using reg yeast, put in a small cup with a teaspoon of sugar and a half cup of water… let it sit for about 10 minutes or foamy and then pour in jug). Poke 5 holes in the ballon with pin and place balloon over jug opening. Store in a warm dark spot.
Wine will be ready in about 2 weeks.
